Comparative Experiment and Analysis of a Base-Isolated Structure with Small Aspect Ratio on Multi-Layered Soft Soil Foundation and Rigid Foundation

چکیده

Through conducting a comparative experimental study of small-aspect-ratio isolated structure models on multi-layered soft soil foundations and rigid foundations, this paper investigates the influence soil–structure interaction (SSI) effects seismic response structures foundations. An energy balance equation for systems considering SSI is proposed, impact dissipation analyzed in depth. The analysis results reveal that reduce first-order natural frequency system significantly increase damping ratio system. Furthermore, rotational effect foundation significant isolation layer has certain amplification foundation. shows may either or decrease structures. Moreover, due to effects, ratios kinetic energy, dissipation, hysteresis deformation are different from those research concludes more during large earthquakes, where increase, decreases, magnitude related characteristics input motion.
